Honda CBR300R

The Honda CBR300R will be the higher-displacement version of the mighty CBR250R. As for the design, the CBR300R will be seeking a twin-pod headlamp setup at the front, five-spoke alloy wheels, svelte lines, split seats and a muscular fuel tank.

At the heart of the matter, the CBR300R will be powered by a 286cc single-cylinder mill that churns out 30.4bhp and 27.1Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a slick five-speed gearbox. The CBR300R is expected to touch a top speed of 157km/h.

Expected to be launch in the next couple of weeks, our sources suggest that Honda will be pricing the CBR300R in the vicinity of Rs.2 lakh. At this price, the CBR300R will be locking horn against the TVS Apache RR310 and KTM RC200.
