The 2021 Ducati XDiavel has been launched in India at more affordable prices than that of the standard Diavel 1260. The 2021 XDiavel hyper-cruiser has made its India debut in two variants.

The 2021 Ducati XDiavel has made its India debut in two variants. The XDiavel’s Dark variant is the more affordable of the two, which has been priced at Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2021 Ducati XDiavel Black Star variant, on the other hand, will set you back by Rs 22.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The bike shares its mechanicals with the 2021 Ducati Diavel 1260, which was launched in India in June. An L-twin Ducati Testastretta DVT 1,262cc engine powers both variants of the XDiavel. The power rating is 158bhp at 9,500rpm and 127Nm at 5,000rpm.

The Ducati XDiavel Dark gets 50mm front upside-down forks. Similar 50mm forks on the Black Start variant gets a diamond-like coating. The 17-inch (front and rear) alloys on the Dark are die-cast wheels made of light-weight alloy. The Black Star variant gets machined wheels, which shave 2kgs off the kerb weight. The wheels of the black star variant are finished in gloss Black.

Both the XDiavel models get 320mm rotors at the front; however, Ducati has equipped the Black Star variant with Brembo M50 radial mono-bloc callipers. The Dark variant gets Brembo M4.32 radial mono-bloc callipers.

The electronic package includes IMU-based Ducati traction control and cornering ABS. Ducati also offers riding modes, cruise control, and Ducati power launch. The XDiavel Black Star gets the Ducati multimedia system as standard.

2021 Ducati Xdiavel Fuel Tank Details

In terms of appearance, the Dark variant gets a more matte treatment all around. The Black Star variant is offered in a two-tone colour scheme of a Black and Grey combination, with Red highlights on the fuel tank. The Black Star gets a high-grip suede fabric seat.

The Ducati XDiavel rivals the Triumph Rocket 3 range, which is priced between Rs 19.35 lakh and Rs 20.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Ducati offers a 2-year unlimited-kilometre warranty on both variants of the XDiavel. Ducati India confirmed that the deliveries of the bike have already commenced.
