Available as a CKD unit, bookings for the 2022 Africa Twin are open at Honda's BigWing Topline dealerships, across seven Indian cities.

Honda Motorcycles has launched the 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports in India, with prices starting from ₹16.01 lakh for the Pearl Glare White Tricolour (Manual Transmission) variant and going up to ₹17.55 lakh for the DCT automatic variant, which is available exclusively in the Matte Ballistic Black Metallic colour scheme (all prices are ex-showroom, Haryana). Bookings for the motorcycle can be made at BigWing Topline dealerships in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

In terms of updates and changes, the 2022 Africa Twin has gone on sale with a readjusted console screen for better visibility while riding. Plus, the bike also offers better connectivity with the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, alongside standard Bluetooth connectivity.

Barring a few visual tweaks to the livery, the 2022 Africa Twin remains more or less identical to the outgoing bike, both in terms of looks and mechanical specs. Powering both variants is a 1,082.96cc liquid-cooled OHC engine, which develops an unchanged 97.8bhp @ 7,500rpm and 103Nm of torque @ 6,000rpm.

Featuring an adjustable seat and a rally-style positive LCD instrument cluster, the 2022 Africa Twin rides on a telescopic front fork and Pro-Link rear suspension. For enhanced safety, the 2022 iteration also offers duel-LED headlamps with DRLs and cornering lights. Both variants have a 24.5-litre fuel tank.

When it comes to the electronic rider aids, both variants feature a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and four pre-set riding modes – Tour, Urban, Gravel, and Off-Road.
