The CT110 is the third offering to be plonked with Bajaj’s 115cc motor. The bike comes with blacked-out engine and alloy wheels, rubber mirror covers, crash guards, tank pads, semi-knobby tyres and more

Subsequent to the Discover and the recently introduced Platina, Bajaj Auto has now launched the CT110. Just like its siblings, this one is powered by a 115cc single-cylinder motor that develops 8.5bhp and 9.81Nm. These figures are marginally higher than the Platina 110 but identical to the H-Gear variant the company brought in recently. Unlike the H-Gear though, the CT110 has been paired with a 4-speed transmission. Bajaj has priced the CT110 at Rs 37,997 for the kick-start variant and Rs 44,480 for the electric start. Both prices ex-showroom Delhi.

Speaking about the launch, Sarang Kanade, President - Motorcycle Business said, “The CT range was conceptualized for those customers who demand a robust bike at a reasonable price. Till date more than 50 lakh customers are riding the CT and appreciate it for its durability and outstanding mileage. We have continuously invested in the product both in terms of technology and style without losing the core value of delivering the Best Value Motorcycle on the Indian roads. We believe that the tough new CT 110 provides an even better value with superior performance - a great combination of mileage and power - all at an attractive price.”

Knowing that the motorcycle will possibly be used in rural areas, the CT110 has been built to tackle the rough stuff. It comes fitted with semi-knobby tyres, an increased ground clearance and bigger crash guards. Suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the back. Unlike the Platina 110 this one doesn’t get gas charged rear shocks though. However, owever, HoBajaj says that the suspension has been tweaked to ensure an improved ride quality. Other changes from the CT100 include blacked-out engine, front forks and alloy wheels. The CT110 also gets tank pads, rubber coating on the mirrors and an upswept exhaust.

Bajaj has launched the CT110 in three colour options – matte olive green, gloss flame red and gloss ebony black. The Bajaj CT110 competes against the likes of the Honda CD110 Dream.
