Hero Mavrick 440: Key Details

Hero Mavrick 440 LED Headlamp

A few days back, Hero MotoCorp shared teaser and sketch images, as well as a teaser video of the Mavrick. The company provided a sneak peek of the motorcycle's front end, instrument panel, and exhaust note through the same. The instrument cluster, as seen in the teaser video, is an LCD device that shows data such as warning lights, a speedometer, a tachometer, a fuel gauge, and a gear-position indicator. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, which means that the rider can get notifications and make use of navigation.

Hero Mavrick 440: Styling and Hardware

The new Hero model is expected to come equipped with conventional telescopic front forks rather than USD forks, and its overall design will be more contemporary than that of the Harley-Davidson X440. As with all new models from Hero MotoCorp, we anticipate seeing a circular headlight with an H-shaped LED DRL. There is a flat, tubular handlebar along with a round offset instrument cluster as well. A stubby tail holds a single-piece seat that is hollowed out, and the curved fuel tank is accompanied by sharp extensions.

In addition, the bike will have 17-inch diamond-cut alloy front and rear wheels, as opposed to the X440's 19-inch front wheels. It is important to note that the Hero Mavrick will be positioned as a streetfighter, whereas the X440 is a roadster. A single 320mm front and 240mm rear discs will probably be assisted in controlling braking by dual-channel anti-lock brakes (ABS). The riding position is far more upright than it is on the X440, implying there is sufficient space for a passenger. Previous teasers have revealed full LED lighting and an LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity, which will combine the bike's design with contemporary features.

Hero Mavrick 440: Mechanical Specifications

The Hero Mavrick 440 shares the same trellis frame as the Harley Davidson X440, which provides its structural basis. It is expected that the Mavrick will be tuned differently to maximise the performance of its 6-speed gearbox and 440cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. Although the exact power numbers of the Mavrick have not yet been disclosed, the same engine has proven to be rather effective in its Harley-Davidson counterpart. This engine cranks out 38Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm and 27bhp of maximum power at 6,000rpm.
