Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian National Cricket team, has recently added the TVS Ronin to his collection of motorcycles. The CEO of TVS Two-Wheelers in India, Vimal Sumbly, handed the Ronin's keys to Dhoni. Apart from this brand-new motorcycle, Dhoni has several vintage motorcycles, superbikes, and luxury cars in his garage. A while ago, the former Indian skipper was spotted riding a TVS Apache RR310. Now, the ace cricketer has expanded its collection of two-wheelers by bringing home another offering from TVS Motor Company – the Ronin. The motorcycle collection of the leading sportsman includes several popular names like the Kawasaki Ninja H2, Ducati 1098, BSA Goldstar, and Yamaha RD350. The Ronin is TVS’ flagship street motorcycle.

Powering the TVS Ronin is a 225.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which offers 20bhp at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm at 3,750rpm. For transmission, the motorcycle uses a 5-speed unit with a slip-and-assist feature. The model is available in four variants. MS Dhoni has bought the higher-spec version of the Ronin, finished in Galactic Grey shade. This version features dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on both ends. The Ronin comes with alloy wheels, a digital speedometer, LED turn indicators, an all-LED tail light, and adjustable levers. There are two different ABS modes for the motorcycle – Rain and Urban. Further, the motorcycle has a silent starter and Bluetooth connectivity for navigation.

Currently, the Ronin retails at prices ranging between Rs 1.49 lakh and 1.71 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
