Yezdi Motorcycles last updated the Scrambler in May 2023 with a few performance tweaks and, in a recent development, the new Yezdi Scrambler has been spotted at a dealership meet, suggesting that the motorcycle is close to ready for launch in the Indian market. A video uploaded by the motorcycle brand shows the updated Scrambler sporting neo-retro styling. The brand-new bike has a round headlamp, a flat single-piece seat, an updated fuel tank with blue stripes, and an extended rear fender. However, the bike features no tail lamp, brake lamp, turn indicators, or grab rails. Unlike the existing Scrambler that comes with dual exhaust pipes, the Yezdi Scrambler spotted at an event gets a single exhaust on the right side. Other bits include a large engine bash guard and a twin-pod instrument console.

New Yezdi Scrambler: Engine, Gearbox

The firm has yet to disclose the engine specifications; however, expect the upcoming Yezdi Scrambler to be powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motor is tuned to produce 29bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm.

New Yezdi Scrambler: Hardware

Hardware-wise, the updated Scrambler gets telescopic front forks with gaiters at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, the braking setup includes a single disc at both ends, accompanied by dual-channel ABS. Rather than spoked wheels, the bike rolls on a pair of alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres. The new Scrambler's mid-set footpegs, wide handlebars, and flat single-piece seat put you in an upright riding position.

Price-wise, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350-rivalling Yezdi bike could go upwards of Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom), the starting price of the existing Yezdi Scrambler – updated last year in May.

Yezdi Lineup in India

Currently, Yezdi offers three products in India: Scrambler, Adventure, and Roadster, with prices starting at Rs 2.12 lakh, Rs 2.16 lakh, and Rs 2.09 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom).
