2023 Force Citiline 10-Seater MUV Launched at Rs 15.93 Lakh; Check Details Here

The 2023 Force Citiline is an updated version of the existing Trax, which is available in Toofan and Cruiser iterations. It is the country's first MUV to offer 10 forward-facing seats.

The 2023 Force Citiline MUV (multi-utility vehicle) has been launched in India. It is an updated version of the existing Trax, which is available in Toofan and Cruiser iterations. In its updated avatar, the Citiline gets all front-facing seats. Interestingly, it is the country's first MUV to offer 10 forward-facing seats configured in a 2-3-2-3 layout. In comparison to the 13-seater Cruiser, it does not get side-facing jump seats in the third row. The 2023 Citiline is said to have been designed to make long-haul trips with family or friends completely hassle-free. It comes in a single variant at a price tag of Rs 15.93 lakh (ex-showroom).

2023 Force Citiline MUV: Exterior

Style-wise, the 2023 Citiline vehicle seems to have a boxy appearance with sharp edges, something similar to the Trax Cruiser. It gets a new front fascia with a revised front grille, traditional front light with halogen bulbs, and body-coloured panels, along with black-finished OVRMs and door handles. Plus, it has a large bonnet coupled with a single washer.

The 2023 Force Citiline measures 5,120mm in length, 1,818mm in width, and 2,027mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3,050mm and a ground clearance of 191mm.

Inside, the Citiline offers 10 front-facing seats set up in a 2+3+2+3 layout. In the second row, the MUV comes with 60:40 bucket seats for passengers' easy entry and exit.  

On the feature front, the vehicle gets four power windows, power steering, multiple USB charging ports, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, separate air conditioning for front and rear occupants, new charcoal grey console, bottle holders, and more.

2023 Force Citiline MUV: Engine, Suspension

Coming to the powertrain, the 2023 Force Citiline uses an FM 2.6 CR turbo diesel engine, which is sourced from Mercedes-Benz. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine is good enough for 91bhp of power and 250Nm of peak torque between 1,400rpm and 2,400rpm. 

As for the suspension, the 2023 MUV comes with front-independent double wishbone suspension with torsion bar front springs and rear parabolic leaf springs.

Force Motors, the Indian car manufacturer based in Pune, launched the Urbania van in 2022, with prices beginning at ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). In order to expand its offerings, it is also expected to launch the 5-door version of the Gurkha offroader.
