3M Car Care will reach out to its customers with self-sufficient vans, as part of their recently launched ‘Store to Door’ service.

The vans operate on a 100% plug and play model and are enabled with GPS and GPRS to reach customers in shortest time. The vans are manned by well trained technicians and offer advanced services such as GermnKleen(removes 99% microbes from interiors) and Paint Sealant(lasts upto 6 months), in addition to standard polishing and cleaning.

Commenting on this launch, Mr. Vishesh Nigam, General Manager, 3M Car Care, Automotive Aftermarkets Division, 3M India said, “We enjoy the first mover’s advantage in the car care and mobile detailing category and continue setting new bench marks through the launch of the new concept. The last couple of years has seen us built strong brand equity with our consumers through superior services which has further helped cement relationships with them."

The vans come equipped with a television screen to allow customer to see every aspect of treatment before they opt for such service. They may also buy a host of DIY material from the shelfs.

3M Care Care is present in over 1400 dealerships in India 50 stores spread across Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Gurgaon, New Delhi, Nashik, Nagpur, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Raipur and Kolhapur.
