After securing its spot among the world's top ten automakers in sales, BYD, or Build Your Dreams, is getting ready to expand its lineup in India. It currently sells the Atto 3 in our market and intends to introduce the Seal soon. To add to this product range, the EV maker plans to bring the BYD Dolphin to India, which scored 5 stars in Euro NCAP 2023 Crash Tests. The automaker has registered a trademark for the Dolphin EV, which features two battery options in the foreign market. Even though there hasn't been a formal announcement, the Dolphin EV might be the most reasonably priced BYD available in India.
While there is much to know about this anticipated Dolphin EV, let's start with its outstanding performance in the 2023 Euro NCAP crash testing. The EV was tested alongside the BYD Seal, another electric vehicle slated to debut in our market.
