Honda released the official sketches of the Honda Brio-based MPV. We have no doubts in our mind that we will see the car in the flesh soon in India.

From what we see, expect it to have class leading interior space and a diesel powertrain. Honda will definetly give it the 1.5-litre diesel engine. For Honda, the benchmark for this MPV will be the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and they will leave no stone unturned to give this MPV an edge over the Indian car makers one.

From the sketches, the Honda MPV gets a front-end similar to the Brio but a bit more aggressive. The MPV has been designed by Honda especially for the Indonesian market and even there it will be competing with the Suzuki Ertiga. We will see the car first at the Indonesian International Motor Show in September and maybe soon after in India.
