For April 2024, Hyundai has announced an attractive incentive for potential Alcazar buyers. You can now save up to Rs 55,000 (cash discount and exchange bonus) on petrol and diesel variants of the Alcazar SUV. However, this offer may vary depending on the region, variant, availability, and other factors. Priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV can be had in six variants: Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature, and Signature (O).

Under the hood, the Hyundai Alcazar gets two engine options – a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The former, which is mated to a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT gearbox, develops 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque, whereas the latter, paired with a six-speed manual and an automatic torque converter unit, generates 113bhp and 250Nm of maximum torque. Launched in June 2021 in India, the Hyundai Alcazar is a three-row SUV based on the Creta.

Hyundai Alcazar: Features

Features-wise, the Alcazar offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, as well as a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel. It also gets an idle engine start/stop function, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, ventillated front seats, traction and driving modes, and a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof.

When it comes to safety, the SUV packs in six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS (anti-lock braking system), EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution), reverse parking sensors, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, and hill start assist control. In terms of market competition, it rivals the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Jeep Compass.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: India Launch Soon?

In other news, Hyundai India is gearing up to launch the facelifted Alcazar in the coming weeks. While styling elements are expected to be on the lines of the new Creta, the 2024 Alcazar could receive a revised tail-light design and dual-tone alloy wheels. One can also expect a redesigned dashboard along with new interior colour options. However, the powertrain is likely to remain untouched.
