Several models from Maruti Suzuki's stable are basking in a range of discounts for May 2023. According to several industry reports, a few authorized Maruti Suzuki dealerships are offering benefits on models such as the Celerio, the WagonR, the S-Presso, and more to boost sales in the country. We have recently got our hands on the reports hinting that the well-liked sedan in the carmaker's portfolio - the Dzire, is also available with offers, including a corporate discount and an exchange bonus. In terms of price, the subcompact Dzire retails between Rs 6.44 lakh to Rs 9.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. The propulsion duty is performed by a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine, which is also available with the Swift. It offers 89bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque, paired with either a standard 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. In a CNG mode, the vehicle has a decreased output of 76bhp and 98.5Nm, connected to only a 5-speed MT gearbox. Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Discounts May 2023
The petrol versions of the sedan come with a Rs 10,000 exchange bonus and Rs 4,000 corporate discount for this month. The CNG versions, on the other hand, are not subject to these offers.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Variants & Features
The Dzire sedan has four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The factory-installed CNG kit is available for the mid-spec VXi and ZXi models. In terms of features, the compact sedan offers auto AC with rear vents, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic LED headlights, cruise control, and more. For safety, the car offers ISOFIX child-seat anchors, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, etc. However, only the AMT models are available with hill-hold assistance and electronic stability control (ESC).

Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Top-selling Compact Sedan in FY2023
According to data shared by JATO Dynamics, Maruti Suzuki was the best-selling compact sedan in FY23. In comparison to 1,08,564 units dispatched the year earlier, the Dzire sales rose by 11% year over year (YoY) to 1,20,948 units. The Dzire, which is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel options, is the only car in the sedan segment to achieve six-figure sales, discounting the fleet-only Dzire Tour S, which sold 29,452 units. It now occupies the sixth spot on the list and has a 45% increase in its FY2022 sales number.
