The Made-in-India Maruti Suzuki Jimny has finally made its entry in South Africa, following the unveil early in 2023. This international spec model costs more than the India-spec counterpart, with prices ranging from 429,900 Rand (approximately Rs 19.5 lakh) to 479,900 Rand (about Rs 21.79 lakh). The price of the five-door off-road vehicle in our market is between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.89 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom. In South Africa, the three-door version of the Jimny is also available with costs ranging from 390,900 Rand to 438,900 Rand (about Rs. 17.74 lakh to Rs. 19.92 lakh, including VAT). As a result, the five-door South African spec Jimny is Rs 2 lakh more expensive than the three-door model, depending on the variant. It is worth noting that the off-roader's design and a host of other specifications are similar to the model that is available for purchase in India. For more details on this matter, read on.
