Maruti Suzuki announced that it will recall 1492 units of its cars to inspect a potential steering column issue.

Maruti has said that only cars manufactured between the 19th to 26th October have been affected. 306 Ertigas, 592 Swifts, 581 Dzires and 13 Astars are part of this affected lot.

Maruti further said that the owners of these vehicles will be called by their local dealers and if the part is found faulty after inspection, it will be replaced free of cost.
