Nissan’s Dune Patrol Concept blends Armada PRO-4X and Nismo parts to create an off-road support vehicle with long-travel suspension and 37-inch tyres.

Nissan has unveiled the Dune Patrol Concept at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, developed as a specialised support vehicle for off-road operations. The project is not linked to a production model but serves to demonstrate how a purpose-built platform can perform in desert and remote conditions. Based on the Armada PRO-4X, the concept features a range of Nismo components designed for endurance and reliability in sand, rock, and ectreme environments. The exterior design follows a utility-first approach. Wide wheel arches and new quarter panels from FibreWerx expand track width to accommodate larger tyres and longer suspension movement.

Both ends feature prototype steel bumpers developed by Nismo, while rock sliders and a roof rack enhance versatility for support duties. A colour reflecting the vehicle’s desert-oriented application completes the exterior execution.

Nissan has set up the cabin with a focus on utility by fitting an integrated Air-On-Board compressor system for tyre management during off-road work. The interior also carries Nissan Genuine Accessory all-season high wall floor mats, interior door scuff protectors, and seatback organisers to keep equipment in place. Custom MOLLE panels complete the layout and offer secure mounting points for tools and off-road essentials.
Mechanically, the vehicle receives significant suspension modifications from CJD Racing. A long-travel configuration offers 16 inches of articulation supported by Bilstein M 9200 coilovers at the front and rear. Reinforced control arms, redesigned shock towers, and extended brake lines accompany the setup.

The concept uses 18-inch Nismo beadlock prototype wheels wrapped in 37-inch Yokohama Geolander MT tyres to enhance traction across variable terrain and deep sand.

Nissan has clarified that while the Dune Patrol Concept is a one-off creation, some parts showcased may enter the aftermarket catalogue depending on interest generated through SEMA feedback.
