An updated version of the Chevrolet Captiva will be seen at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This restyled edition will make its way to European markets first and then might trickle down to the Indian market. The new Captiva sports a lower bumper, a new front grille and restyled fog lamps.

The rear also gets a few changes like the new LED tail lamps, angular chrome exhaust tips and a remodeled bumper. Chevrolet has also opted to go with 18-inch alloy wheels rather than the 17-inch which are currently part of the package.

Besides that, the Captiva will feature keyless entry and start, new fabrics (with the option of leather upholstery) and restyled trims in the instrument panel. A dual-zone climate system and heated rear seats add to the comfort it has to offer. Chevrolet will offer the Captiva with the option of seven seats and that might put some smiles on people’s faces. There has been no confirmation about when it will be launched India, but we hope it’s happens soon as the current Captiva has been having a hard time especially with competition like the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport finding favour with customers.
