The Tata Punch SUV emerged as the best-selling car in March, with 17,547 units sold. The Hyundai Creta, which sold over 16,500 units last month, ranked second, while the Wagon R finished third, followed by Maruti Suzuki. It's worth mentioning that this is the first time Maruti Suzuki failed to make it to the top two spots. However, in terms of brand sales, the Indo-Japanese company maintained its steady growth in the previous month. It experienced YoY growth of 15% in the domestic PV market, selling 1,52,718 units in March 2024, compared to 1,32,763 vehicles last year.

The Punch registered a year-on-year growth of 61% in March. In comparison to 10,894 units sold in March 2023, Tata Motors delivered 17,500 units of the compact SUV last month.
