Volkswagen has revealed the new Golf R 333 Edition after months of teasing, and it will be on sale in certain regions in June. Currently producing 329bhp (333 PS), the 333 edition has a strict production cap of 333 units. When it comes to the design, there is not much to discuss other than the lime yellow paint hue and the black contrast features, such as the wheels and the roof. The Golf R 333 Edition looks very similar to the Golf R 20 Years Edition from 2022, even down to the 19-inch wheels, albeit it has semi-slicks instead. Volkswagen has announced that it will begin accepting bookings for the limited-run special edition from June 2 and that the company intends on starting delivering the vehicles in September.

As the pinnacle of the Golf lineup, you can expect to get every available feature, including matrix LED headlights. In addition to Akrapovi's R Performance exhaust and titanium rear silencers, VW equips the vehicle with 19-inch Estoril black wheels shod with semi-slick tyres.

The Golf R 333 is propelled by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that has been fine-tuned to produce 329bhp and 420 Nm of torque, compared to the 315bhp of the normal Golf R. Volkswagen claims that it can go from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a peak speed of 270km/h with power going to all four wheels. In spite of sharing the same specifications as the 2022 Golf R 20 Years Edition, the Golf R 333 has a new R Performance exhaust developed by Akrapovich and fitted with a titanium rear silencer.
