Volkswagen India showcased the ID.4 electric crossover during its Annual Brand Conference in Jaipur, marking a significant stride into the electric vehicle sector. As the brand's premier electric offering, the ID.4 is expected to make its India debut by the end of 2024. Interestingly, this isn't the first time the ID.4 has been seen on Indian shores. The car made its first appearance in April last year, earning acclaim for its premium features, including an advanced all-wheel-drive system and an impressive 82kWh battery capable of covering up to 500 km on a single charge. Anticipated to be introduced in India as a Complete Built Unit (CBU), the Volkswagen ID.4 will likely carry a price tag of about Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon its arrival, the SUV will enter into fierce competition with formidable rivals such as the Hyundai Ioniq5, Kia EV6, and the Volvo XC40 Recharge. For those intrigued by the forthcoming Volkswagen ID.4 EV and eager to delve into its details, here's everything you need to know.

Its top speed is 180km/h, and it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 6.3 seconds, making driving fun.

The manufacturer has not yet revealed the exact power specs for the Indian market, so fans are eagerly awaiting further information on how well the model will work here.
