Adrian Hallmark has been named Aston Martin's new executive director and chief executive officer. The 61-year-old will succeed the 77-year-old Amedeo Felisa as CEO by October 1. Hallmark is an experienced automotive professional with a wealth of board experience in Asia, the U.S., and the U.K. He served as Bentley's chief sales officer from 1999 to 2005. Following that, he worked for Jaguar Motor Company (JLR) before returning to Bentley as CEO in 2018. In its official press statement, Aston Martin claims that Felisa will continue in her role as CEO of the company until Hallmark takes over the leadership. He will be in charge of the company's significant product introductions during this time, which include the DBS successor.

Commenting on the new appointment, Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin, said, “In Adrian Hallmark, we are attracting one of the highest calibre leaders not just in our segment, but in the entire global automotive industry. Complementing our world-class leadership, Adrian will bring to Aston Martin unrivalled experience in both the ultra-luxury and British manufacturing sectors to progress our strategy and continue recent momentum.”

Sharing views on his new role, Adrian Hallmark commented “Like many working within the ultra-luxury segment, I have admired the continued transformation of Aston Martin’s brand and products from afar and feel honoured to have the opportunity to work with Lawrence, the Board, and the Company’s employees to lead its next chapter.''

He added “The transformation of Aston Martin is one of the most exciting projects within the ultra-luxury automotive industry. I am looking forward to continuing the Company’s great momentum and utilising my experience and passion to further unleash this iconic brand’s potential and take it to even greater success.”

2025 Aston Martin Vantage Globally Revealed

The all-new Aston Martin Vantage—with both mechanical and feature advancements—made its global debut last month. The sportscar's 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8 engine and 8-speed ZF automatic transmission represent the biggest changes to the powertrain. With larger turbos, altered gearing, more cooling, and greater compression ratios, the 2025 Vantage's engine generates 655bhp and 800Nm—the largest increases of 153bhp and 115Nm, respectively. An electronic limited-slip differential transfers power to the back wheels. According to Aston Martin, the new vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 3.4 seconds and reach a high speed of 325km/h. Along with the revised regular Vantage, the luxury carmaker also introduced its GT3 sibling, the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo.
