Honda Connect App Gets Updated with These New Features, Comes with 5-year Free Subscription

With the introduction of new updates, Honda Connect now comes with 37 features, including a personalised dynamic dashboard, a digitalised pick-up & drop service, additional reward points on FuelPay through the HPCL network, buying and selling pre-owned vehicles, and integration of accessories.

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has introduced a host of updates to its Connect app. The new additions to the application include a personalised dynamic dashboard with a shortcut widget on the screen, a digitalised pick-up & drop service, additional reward points on FuelPay through the HPCL network, buying and selling pre-owned vehicles, and integration of accessories – TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) & DVR (Drive View Recorder). With this update, Honda Connect now comes with a total number of 37 features and a 5-year free subscription package from the date of purchase of a vehicle. These advanced features will be available across various Honda cars, aiming to offer an enhanced connected experience for the user. The Honda Connect app is available for free on Android and iOS devices (Apple Watch OS 4 and above & Android Wear OS 2.0 and above) and also supports Alexa remote capabilities.

Launched in 2015, Honda Connect is an advanced and intelligent information platform for customers, allowing smartphone users to access detailed information about their car, such as servicing notifications, SOS, fuel economy data, etc.

Honda Connect App: New Features Explained

Among the latest additions to the app is the personalised dynamic dashboard. With this new feature, users will have the option to customise their Connect experience with tailoured landing home screens, colours schemes, dashboard layouts, and promotional content. Then, there is a digitalised pick-up and drop service, providing digital updates on service-related activities and offering the convenience of service appointment bookings.

Honda Connect, in partnership with HPCL, is offering additional FuelPay rewards, allowing customers to earn 5 HP Pay points for every Rs 100 spent on fuel at HP filling stations. These loyalty points can be redeemed for future fuel purchases using generated pay codes. On offer is also a platform for buying and selling pre-owned vehicles, while the TPMS and DVR can be installed as an accessory and paired with Honda Connect to receive real-time tyre pressure updates and record surrounding events while the vehicle is in operation, respectively.
