Mahindra has decided to make the Marazzo MPV and the Bolero Neo SUV dearer by just a couple thousand rupees. The Marazzo now retails at a starting price of Rs 14.12 lakh (ex-showroom). All 3 variants – the base M2, the mid-spec M4 Plus, and the top-spec M6 Plus – receive a uniform price hike of Rs 1,600 over their earlier price, while one of the brand's bestsellers, the Bolero Neo, is now expensive by up to Rs 1,505 as it is priced at Rs 9,64,300 (ex-showroom). This comes after the Indian manufacturer revised the prices of select models, including the Thar, the XUV700, the Scorpio Classic, and the XUV300. While we do not know the exact reason, higher input costs combined with increasing demand could be potential reasons for the price hike. Coming back to the Marazzo, the three-row MPV is offered with a sole 1.5-litre diesel engine (BS6 Phase II-compliant), which produces 121bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. It's Eco mode lowers the power output to 99bhp. On offer is a 6-speed manual gearbox. Now, let's have the variant-wise listing of the revised prices:
|M2||starts at Rs 14.12 lakh|
|M4 Plus||starts at Rs 15.36 lakh|
