Royal Enfield's Upcoming Models

At the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Expo in New Delhi, Royal Enfield displayed a flex-fuel version of the Classic 350. Even with ethanol-blended petrol (up to 85 per cent ethanol), the flex-fuel version makes the same 20bhp of power at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm as the standard version.

Visually, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Flex Fuel looks almost identical to the standard version, save for a unique green and red paint scheme. The RE Classic 350 Flex Fuel is expected to arrive sometime in 2025 in the country. Currently, the price of the Classic 350 ranges from Rs 1.93 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).

While the fuel-fuel version of the Classic 350 will arrive in due course of time, the new Hunter 450 could go on sale in India by the end of 2024. The new 450cc bike was spotted on test recently, revealing telescopic forks at the front with fork gaiters and a mono-shock at the rear.

Like the new Himalayan, the Hunter 450 will likely ditch the conventional central round stop lamp in favour of turn indicators. Other bits could be discs for braking duties, a saree guard, and a bash plate. Coming to the mechanical components, the Hunter 450 will likely use the same single-cylinder liquid-cooled 450cc engine as the Himalayan 450 but, perhaps, with a bit of modification to make it suitable for the roadster.
