Tata Motors has always been in the firing line when it came to customer service not only in the passenger vehicle centre’s but also in their commercial vehicle setup. The company has developed itself in the commercial vehicle space for over 60 years and has now taken it upon itself to upgrade the knowledge and skills of its 25000 technicians spread across 1300 commercial vehicle dealerships and authorised service stations.

Named as the TECHFEST, Tata Motors aims to promote a mutual understanding between the company and dealer service technicians, allowing them to learn the latest in service technologies, at the same time understanding their training needs and providing them with the expertise for the same.

The first edition of TECHFEST was based on aggregate identification and specification, lubricants, vehicle electrical’s, safety and troubleshooting. Tata Motors has taken one step towards improving their after sales and service business and we hope to see quite many changes from the company.
