2018 editions of Honda CB Shine SP, Livo, Dream Yuga launched

Honda’s commuter motorcycles have been mildly revised for 2018. Honda showcased as many as 10 refreshed models at the 2018 Auto Expo. Now, three models out of those 10 – CB Shine SP, Livo and Dream Yuga – have been officially launched.

Honda’s commuter motorcycles have been mildly revised for 2018.

Honda showcased as many as 10 refreshed models at the 2018 Auto Expo. Now, three models out of those 10 – CB Shine SP, Livo and Dream Yuga – have been officially launched.

Let’s begin with the most expensive bike of the trio, the 2018 CB Shine SP has a new style with a tank shroud, new graphics, a new instrument cluster with service due indicator & clock and a new low-maintenance seal chain. The bike is available in five colour options – pearl siren blue, geny grey metallic, athletic blue metallic, imperial red metallic and black. The 125cc commuter is offered in three variants – drum, disc and CBS – and its price begins at Rs. 62,032 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Next is the 2018 edition of the 110cc Livo. In its new avatar, the bike gains revised stripes, new analogue-digital metre console with service due indicator & clock and low maintenance seal chain. Even the Livo is made available in five colour options – black, athletic blue metallic, sunset brown metallic, matte axis grey metallic and imperial red metallic. Available in both disc and drum variants, this new bike will set you back by Rs. 56,230 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The entry-level Dream Yuga, for the 2018 model year, gains refreshed graphics, updated meter design and body-coloured rear-view mirrors. Also, Honda is offering HET tyres (low rolling resistance tyre) as standard on the bike. Additionally, the low-maintenance seal chain is also a part of the Yuga’s kit. Available in five colour options, the 2018 Honda Dream Yuga is priced at Rs. 52,741 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The three updates bikes retain their same respective powertrains as before. The CB Shine SP draws its power from a 124.7cc, air-cooled engine good for 10.5bhp and 10.7Nm. On the other hand, both the Livo and Dream Yuga draw their power from the same 109cc, air-cooled engine producing 8.2bhp and 8.6Nm.
