2018 Hero Super Splendor launched at Rs. 57,190

Hero’s strong selling commuter gains a few updates for the 2018 model year.
Hero MotoCorp has introduced the new Super Splendor in India at Rs. 57,190 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Targeted at young professionals, the new Hero Super Splendor is powered by a new air-cooled, single-cylinder, 125cc engine that produces 11.4bhp of power @ 7500rpm and 11Nm of peak torque at @ 6000rpm.
The motorcycle also features Hero’s i3S idle start-stop technology. The new Super Splendor is claimed to offer 27 per cent more power and 6 per cent more torque than its predecessor. The bike reaches a maximum speed of 94km/h.
The updated bike also comes packed with a series of features, which include AHO, side stand indicator, side reflector, updated seat, a wider rear tyre and large under seat storage and side utility box with lock.
While aesthetically the bike remains largely unchanged, it does have a new chrome finished muffler and refreshed graphics. Five metallic colours are offered on the new Super Splendor – black with purple, black with red, black with silver, candy blazing red and heavy grey.
