Auto Expo 2023: Tork Motors Unveil Brand-New Kratos X and updated Kratos R

Auto Expo 2023: Tork Motors has revealed a brand-new Kratos X that boasts support the fast-charging technology. It has also brought the revised Tork Kratos R with several cosmetic modifications in India.

Auto Expo 2023: The Pune-based electric bikemaker, Tork Motors has showcased a new e-bike, Kratos X alongside an updated Kratos R in India. The Tork Kratos X's bookings will commence in Q2 2023 with test rides beginning in March or April for customers. The deliveries of the e-bike are expected to take place from June this year. According to the bikemaker, the Tork Kratos X is a feature-loaded model boasting an aluminium swingarm and a 7-inch touch-compatible TFT dash. Tork Motors hasn't revealed information about the power specifics of the e-bike still it is rumoured to arrive with a more powerful motor than that of the Kratos R, which will produce increased torque and accelerate more quickly. It is also anticipated to get a new FF (Furiously Fast) mode. The company will reportedly discontinue the standard Tork Kratos S and only the revised Kratos R alongside the new Kratos X will be offered by it in India.

In addition to the new Kratos X e-bike, Tork Motors has brought a revamped model of the Kratos R e-bike. The decals have been updated, and the electric motorcycle now has a blacked-out motor and battery in addition to other cosmetic changes. It gets a fast-charging port, improved front and rear turn indicators, and a modified live dash. The Tork Kratos R's top-spec version includes a 9 kW electric motor that produces 12bhp and 38Nm. The 0 to 40km/h sprint time is unchanged, but the top speed is increased to 105 kilometres. Customers of the Kratos R will also receive complimentary use of the charging network for a two-year period in addition to features like geofencing, crash warning, track mode, analytics, etc.

While unveiling its much-awaited e-bikes, the bikemaker has disclosed that its 60,000-unit capacity-based facility will start running by Q1 2023. Tork currently sells its products in Patna, Hyderabad, Pune, and Satara. However, the company will reportedly expand its presence in more locations by March 2023.
