BMW Motorrad Track Training Programme 2024 to be Held at Buddh International Circuit

The main goal of the BMW Motorrad Track Training Programme at the BIC is to enhance riders' overall skills and offer a deeper understanding of the capabilities of their BMW motorcycles.

BMW Motorrad India is gearing up to host a track training program at the iconic Buddh International Circuit, renowned for hosting the 2023 MotoGP Bharat event. The programme promises an immersive experience at the BIC and is scheduled over two days, March 23-24, 2024, and April 20-21, 2024. In BMW's track training programme, there are two levels: Level 1 and Level 2. Each level is designed to improve riders' abilities and bring out the best in the rider and motorcycle. Under the guidance of seasoned experts, participants can anticipate receiving top-notch instruction in a safe and controlled setting.

With around six theory sessions and six to eight track practice sessions, the training programme provides an appropriate mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Topics covered include how to brake, how to keep your balance, how to be visually aware, how to corner, and how to control the throttle. All participants, from beginners to seasoned racers car participate in this track training event.

How Will the Program Be Conducted?

There are a total of twelve sessions in the BMW Motorrad Track Training programme, including six theory sessions and six to eight practice sessions on the track. According o BMW Motorrad, participants have the unique chance to learn from top professionals, guided by trainers with a combined 12 years of experience and multiple National Championship titles. Everything from basic handling and manoeuvring to complex racing tactics is covered in the wide curriculum. Every session is designed to cover all the important riding skills in depth, so riders can become masters in braking, balance, vision, cornering, and throttle 

Who All Can Participate?

The programme is open to owners of BMW Motorrad Motorcycles only. These models include the S 1000 RR, S 1000 R, S 1000 XR, F 900 XR, G 310 R, and G 310 RR. A valid driver's licence, pre-event motorcycle servicing, and compliance with all safety gear requirements are all necessities for participation.

Among these necessities are a full-grain racing suit, a road racing helmet that has been certified by ECE Snell, a pair of road racing boots, and a pair of full-gloved road racing gloves. Any vehicle that the organisers determine is not appropriate for the training session will be excluded.
