Hero Flash electric scooter launched at Rs. 19,990

Hero Electric has launched the Flash electric scooter in India with a 65km range for Rs 19,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero’s electric vehicle division has launched the Hero Flash which has a 250W electric motor. The Flash has a top speed of 25km/h and a max range of 65 kilometres on a single charge. The electric motor is linked to a 45-Volt VRLA battery with short-circuit protection  and weights just 87 kilograms and gets telescopic front suspension with 16-inch magnesium allow wheels and a full-body crash guard.

With the Flash being offered with a choice of two colour options, Hero is targeting early adopters of electric mobility and first time buyers of electric vehicles.

At the launch of the Flash, Sohinder Gill- CEO Global Hero Eco said, "With Flash, we are moving further ahead with our vision of making India an electrically mobile nation. Flash is the epitome of the latest and best of technology available in e-automobiles sphere."

Hero Electric currently has a wide electric scooter range offering in India. The Flash comes under their ‘Super Economy High Range’ segment which includes the Optima, Nyx, Maxi, Cruze and Wave. Their ‘High Speed Electric Bike’ range includes the the Photon and E-Sprint.
