Organised at the 36th India International Trade fair, Honda’s safe riding program trained and educated 1,500 adults and 2,500 children
Safety on the road, is safe tea at home, goes a popular automotive saying. And that’s exactly what Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India believes too. Spreading this message to the young and old, Honda organised a two-week safety program at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2016.
In association with the Delhi Traffic Police, Honda participated in the in the 36th India International Trade Fair 2016 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi to educate citizens about the importance of road safety. By joining hands with the Delhi Traffic Police, Honda trained over 4,000 individuals how to make safe riding an everyday habit. These 4,000 individuals included children from 5 years of age to adults.
To train children from the age group of 5-6 years, Honda had organised role playing activities and interactive road safety digital games. Some drawing competitions were organised too. Children between 9-12 years got a more hands on experience riding the Honda CRF 50 in a controlled environment to understand the basic handling of motorcycle. A riding trainer helped everyone above the age of 16 years to become more aware while riding by experience over 100 possible dangers on the road.
