Within a month of suspending bookings for its motorcycle, Revolt Motors is all set to restart the sales operation of the RV400 at a price that's more affordable than before.

Revolt Motors has announced that the company will start accepting bookings for the RV400 from July 15, 2021. The bookings will commence by noon, and interested buyers can register themselves on the company’s website.

Last month, Revolt resumed bookings for the electric motorcycle; however, the entire batch of the electric motorcycle was sold out within hours. Those who were able to book the bike in that slot will receive the delivery of the bike by September 2021.

The RV400’s 4bhp mid-mounted motor is powered by a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery. The motor transfers the power to the wheels via a belt drive. The RV400 takes 4.5 hours to get charged from 0 to 100 per cent of its capacity. The RV400 offers a range of 150km in Eco mode, 100km in Normal mode, and 80km in Sports mode.

The Revolt RV400 recently received a price cut under the Fame II initiative. Before the price revision, the Revolt RV400 retailed for Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom) in six cities of India – Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. The increased subsidy has made the RV400 more affordable by a substantial Rs 12,000. In five out of the six cities where Revolt Motor is present, the RV400 is sold at a price of Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom). For Revolt customers in Delhi, Revolt RV400 is priced at Rs 90,799 (ex-showroom), as electric motorcycles get an added subsidy from the Delhi government.
