Before its worldwide unveiling, Triumph has once again provided a sneak preview of the much-anticipated Daytona 660. Famous British motorbike maker Triumph has given admirers a sneak peek at its new midsize sports tourer with a short video it posted to social media. The trailer highlights the forthcoming Daytona 660's distinctive exhaust note. In Triumph's worldwide portfolio, this model will be taking over for the departing Daytona Moto2 765, which succeeded the original Daytona 675.

January 9th will mark the worldwide debut of the new Triumph Daytona 660. There is a lot of excitement among motorcyclists for this middleweight sports bike because it is the next major launch from the manufacturer.

Triumph Daytona 660: Design and Styling

The Daytona 660 is poised to draw in enthusiasts with its alluring full-faired design, featuring a dual headlamp configuration and an aggressive yet sleek body. The motorcycle, sporting a unique '660' insignia, is a welcome addition to Triumph's esteemed 660cc series. Inspired by the legendary style of previous Daytona models, a small Daytime Running Light (DRL) subtly tucked between the headlights enhances the overall appeal while adding a bit of contemporary flair to its original aggressive aspect.

Triumph Daytona 660: Engine and Performance

The Daytona 660 is equipped with a strong 660 cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is also used in its related models, the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660. The motorcycle is expected to provide approximately 80bhp and 64Nm of torque, promising a thrilling riding experience. A six-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick-shifter for smooth and fluid power delivery complements the engine's unique tuning, which boosts responsiveness and adds an aggressive edge to performance.

Triumph Daytona 660: Features and Equipment

As a Triumph motorcycle, the Daytona 660 is expected to boast a high-performance Showa suspension system, Nissin brakes and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. Improved handling and stability are promised by the strengthened swingarm and redesigned rear subframe hinted at in the teaser video.

In addition to these improvements, the bike is expected to be equipped with two front discs and a single rear disc, which increases its sturdy hardware. Triumph is also anticipated to equip the Daytona 660 with cutting-edge technologies like ABS, ride-by-wire technology, complete LED illumination, traction control, numerous ride modes, and a quick shifter, ensuring a well-rounded and technologically advanced riding experience.
