Ultraviolette Automotive has launched its fastest and most powerful electric motorcycle in India – the F77 Mach 2. Carrying a starting price of Rs 2.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), the motorcycle comes in two range variants – Mach 2 (with a 211km range) and Mach 2 Recon (with a 323km range). In terms of updates, it gets a completely new chassis, advanced SRB battery technology, and an improved range over the F77 motorcycle, launched in the country in late 2022. The new F77 Mach 2 comes in 9 different personalities, spread across the Shadow, Airstrike, and Laser personas. These include Supersonic Silver, Stellar White, Lighting Blue, Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stealth Grey, and Cosmic Grey. The bookings for the bike begin today at 4 pm for Rs 5,000, while deliveries are scheduled to take place in May.

The most powerful Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 draws power from a 40bhp (30kW) electric motor connected to a 10.3kWh battery pack. The company claims that the Mach 2 yields an intercity range of 323km (IDC), which is an increase of 16km over the F77's maximum range. This results in a 0-60km/h sprint time of 2.8 seconds, while 0 to 10km/h comes up in 7.7 seconds. Meanwhile, the standard variant of the Mach 2 uses a 36bhp (27kW) motor mated to a 7.1kWh battery pack, offering an IDC range of 211km.

As for its charging options, the motorcycle can be charged using either a Standard, Boost or UV Supernova DC fast charger, the last of which is capable of charging your vehicle in under 60 minutes.
