Apart from cosmetic upgrades, the 2020 911 Targa has got some mechanical changes too. Though both the 911 Targa 4 & 4S are powered by the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine as the 911 Carrera models, the base Targa 4 version develops 380bhp (15bhp more than its 7th-gen predecessor) & 450Nm of torque. The hotter 911 Targa 4S, on the other hand, develops 444bhp (around 30 more than its predecessor) & 530Nm of torque.
