The Mahindra e2O electric vehicle was showcased at the Delhi AutoExpo last year and now Mahindra is all set to launch this Reva powered car in New Delhi on the 18th of March.
The car will use next generation lithium-ion batteries and will have a range of 100 kms on a full charge. Mahindra's aim at going green for urban transportation is further augmented with the help of Sun2Car solar technology.
It is easy to charge the e2O as it uses a 15 amp plug point which ones finds at home or the workplace. The electric car will be produced at Mahindra Reva’s production facility in Bengaluru which has a capacity of producing 30,000 cars per annum. Mahindra had made it clear that most of these cars will be exported, but how many Indians can they woo? Lets hope at least a few.
