Rolls-Royce has posted official photos of their test SUV mule called Project Cullinan. This four-wheel drive vehicle should see the light of day in 2017-18.

The SUV is based on a shortened Phantom Series II body, which is specially developed for an all-wheel drive suspension system. It gets an all-aluminium architecture and comes with additional ground clearance. According to Rolls-Royce, this new suspension system will offer legendary "magic carpet' ride both on road as well off-road. The Project Cullinan’s suspension will be tested in different road conditions internationally roads. The test surfaces will include; Belgian Pavé, cobblestones, corrugated concrete, noise development and measurement surfaces, resonance road, and acceleration bumps.

The huge winged rear spoiler may be an eye sore, but we will wait and see the production model first before we pass any judgement on Project Cullinan.
