For a while now, the Tata Nexon EV has been the best-selling EV in India. Reportedly, it will soon have a direct rival in the form of the XUV400 by Mahindra. The Mahindra XUV400, which was previously revealed, is set to be released in India in January 2023. The model will come packed with a 39.4 kWh electric motor that can produce 148bhp and 310NM of peak torque. Tata's new sales achievement for the Nexon EV seems huge just before the arrival of its most anticipated rival. It will be interesting to see how the Mahindra XUV400 will lock horns with the Tata Nexon EV variants. The Tata Nexon EV Prime is priced between ₹14.99 lakh to ₹17.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Tata Nexon EV Max costs between ₹18.34 lakh and ₹20.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
