Tata Nexon, Safari, Harrier Red Dark Editions India Launch Tomorrow

The Red Dark Editions of the Tata Harrier, Nexon, and Safari are all set to enter the Indian market tomorrow. These models are likely to cost more than their standard counterparts due to a range of updates.

Tata Motors will launch the Red Dark Editions of the Safari, the Harrier, and the Nexon on 22 February 2023. The leading carmaker has shared a teaser, confirming the arrival of much-awaited models into our market. At the Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors revealed the Red Dark Editions of the Harrier and Safari. According to reports, the new editions will sport several cosmetic improvements. The upcoming "Red Dark" Edition range will have a sportier appearance and a vibrant red and black colour palette. The Harrier, Nexon, and Safari Red Dark Editions will likely cost more than the Dark Editions. On the mechanical front, there won't be any changes to the Red Dark variants of the upcoming Harrier, the Safari, or the Nexon. Tata Motors has recently modified its complete passenger car line-up to conform with the Bharat Stage 6 Phase-II requirements. Hence, engines that adhere to BS6 Phase-2 norms will power the upcoming Harrier, the Safari, and the Nexon. 

The upcoming cars will feature an Oberon Black exterior colour with red accents, a Piano Black front grille, and "Red Dark" badging on the front fenders. It will now ride on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with red brake calipers that are finished in a charcoal black shade. In terms of interior, the upcoming editions will have a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree view camera, red grab handles, a "Dark" logo on the headrest, and a Carnelian Red interior theme.

The Red Dark Editions of the three models will come equipped with a variety of features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, a 6-way powered driver seat with memory function, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, and more than 200 voice commands in six different languages.

There will be several safety features, including forward and rear collision warning, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, autonomous emergency braking, door open alert, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, lane change alert, etc., available with the SUVs. The Tata Harrier and the Safari Red Dark Editions will likely get ADAS technology.

Talking about the price, the Red Dark Editions are most likely to cost Rs 30,000 to Rs 1 lakh more as compared to their respective standard models.
