Delhi-based Advantec Wheels forays into aftermarket alloy wheel manufacturing

Advantec Wheels is touted to be India’s first company to roll out premium flow-forged aftermarket alloy wheels.

Advantec Wheels, a Delhi-based start-up founded by Sukhbir Singh, Ravinder Arora and Jasneet Singh, has forayed into the manufacturing of flow-forged alloy wheels for passenger cars. The company showcased prototypes of its aftermarket alloy wheel range at the recently-concluded Auto Components Show at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Sharing his thoughts on the announcement, Jasneet Singh, Founder & Director, Advantec  Wheels, said, 'To deliver world-class products, our state-of-the-art factory in Jammu (located at SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, with a covered space of approx. 50,000 square feet) is expected to go live in August 2023. We expect to achieve a sales volume of approx. 1,00,000 wheels in the first full year of production, which shall thereafter be ramped up to the peak capacity of 2,00,000 in upcoming years. The total manpower at our plant is expected to be over 125 people.'

To this, he added, 'We will be the first company to have a fully-automated foundry line in the country. Our foundry lines are of international standards, wherein the casting of wheels is done in automated "Tilt Gravity" die-casting machines to make consistent and better quality wheels. Further, our first-in-class processes like "Flow Forging" lend our products extra strength. Another industry-first process at our factory is the introduction of Element Painting (EP) which makes our products distinct and unique...Our CoE (Center of Excellence) will conform to BIS/ISO standards and, most importantly, one of our USPs will be the in-house Tool Design and Development that would allow us to deliver all kinds of designs and sizes for wheels with great speed.'

Mr Sukhbir Singh, Founder & Director, Advantec Wheels, concluded by saying, 'We are embarking on a mission to leverage our five decades' expertise in the automobile wheel domain to bring value to our customers.'
