Automakers offer discounts on cars for a variety of reasons. For instance, a carmaker may offer discounts to encourage people to purchase a particular model, compete with other firms, or clear old inventory. Following its market rivals like Honda and Renault, Tata Motors is now also offering discounts to customers on select models for this month. The carmaker is providing benefits and discounts worth up to Rs 65,000 on models like the Tata Altroz, Harrier, Safari, Tiago, and Tigor. Discounts are also available for the unsold MY2022 stock of these models. However, the Nexon, Punch, and its EV line-up do not get the benefit of any discounts this month. Tata Safari Discount
All 2023 variants of Tata Motors' top-of-the-line SUV, the Safari, are currently offered with a combined discount of up to Rs. 35,000. The offer includes a Rs 10,000 cash discount and a Rs 25,000 exchange discount. Tata Motors is providing a tempting discount of up to Rs 65,000 on the remaining MY2022 stock of all models of the Safari. It is powered by a 170bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The Safari is a top-performing SUV in its class, thanks to its commanding on-road presence, roomy third-row seating, impressive performance, and responsive handling.

Tata Harrier Discount
The MY2023 Tata Harrier is also offered in March with a total discount of Rs 35,000, which includes a Rs 10,000 cash discount and a Rs 25,000 exchange discount. Depending on the variant, the remaining MY2022 stock of the Harrier is qualified for a total discount of up to Rs 65,000. The Harrier is a roomy and well-built SUV with a smooth automatic transmission, which shares the same drivetrain and chassis as the Safari. It rivals other SUVs in its class, including the MG Hector.
Tata Tiago Discount
Tata Motors is offering a total discount of Rs 30,000 for CNG variants and Rs 25,000 for petrol variants of the Tiago hatchback. Customers can get a total discount of up to Rs 40,000 on both CNG and petrol variants for the MY2022 stock. The Tiago shares its powertrain with the Tigor sedan and is in direct competition with the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
Tata Tigor Discount
This month, Tata Motors is slashing the price of the petrol Tigor by Rs 25,000 and the Tigor CNG by Rs 30,000 for MY2023. While the petrol version gets discounts of up to Rs 40,000, unsold Tigor CNG from last year is available with benefits of up to Rs 40,000. The Tigor petrol is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 86bhp and is mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT transmission. The Tigor produces 70bhp when running on CNG and is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Tigor competes with compact sedans such as the Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and the recently launched Hyundai Aura facelift.

Tata Altroz Discount
All petrol and diesel variants of Tata Motor's premium hatchback Altroz are available with discounts totalling up to Rs 25,000. There is a discount of up to Rs 25,000 for the automatic version.
Customers can get a total discount of Rs 20,000 and Rs 35,000 on all petrol and diesel variants of the Altroz for the MY2022 stock, respectively. The total discount for the MY2022 DCA petrol automatic Altroz is Rs 30,000. The Altroz is a chic hatchback with outstanding dynamics. It competes with vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.
