The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is one of FIA’s most respected events held every year. Started in 2010, the WEC is organized by Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). This series features various categories of sportscar prototypes, competing in Le Mans Prototype categories, and production-based grand tourers, competing in LM GTE categories. The WEC consists of a number of races held across the world, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. All races of WEC are at least four-hour long. The WEC has four different categories of races and awards eight titles by the end of the championship every year.
