The Xtreme 200S is a fully-faired version of the Xtreme 200R that was launched alongside the Xpulse twins in India. The Xtreme 200S is a fresh offering with clean lines and a clutter-free design, the bar-type LED headlamp at the front houses two separate units for low and high beam along with daytime running lights at either side, the fairing is slim and proportionate, the bright red colour looks snazzy and enhances the overall zing of the motorcycle. Unlike its naked sibling, the Xtreme 200S is well-loaded too, the instrument cluster gets a full digital treatment with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
The Xtreme 200S is an exciting and rather stylish motorcycle. The well-proportionate motorcycle is dimensionally 2,062mm long, 778mm wide and 1,106mm in height. The Hero Xtreme 200S specifications assert a 200cc single-cylinder motor that produces 18.1bhp and 17.1Nm of peak torque. The air-cooled engine is smooth and eager post 7,000rpm, after which it runs out of steam. The five-speed gearbox works in continuity with a light clutch for precise shifting.
