Mean Metal Motors Azani

Indian EV start-up, Mean Metal Motors, or MMM, revealed their first all-electric supercar Azani some time ago. Currently, in concept form, the first unit of the electric supercar will be out by the second half of 2022, carrying a price tag close to $1,20,000 – or Rs 89 lakh after conversion as of today. Series production is expected to begin in the next 2-3 years.

The MMM Azani has typical supercar aggression as it features a pointy front end while the overall design is highlighted by sharp and taut lines. There’s no doubt that it looks quite swanky. And before you miss it, the front end has been designed in such a way that it resembles MMM’s logo.

MMM hasn’t divulged any technical details of the Azani EV supercar as yet, but the company claims that its battery pack and electric motor will produce an equivalent of 986bhp! The supercar will have a driving range of 550-700km. if MMM is to be believed.

Performance wise, the Azani will be capable of clocking 0-100km/h from in 2 seconds – or less. That's as quick as the Tesla Roadster!  MMM claims that the supercar will have a top speed of 350km/h.

When launched, the MMM Azani will compete with the likes of the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-Tron GT in the Indian market.
