Hero launched Xtreme Sports bike at Rs 72,725

Hero MotoCorp has launched Xtreme Sports, a peppier and sportier version of its popular 150 cc bike, Xtreme. This is the second product launch from Hero in the month of June, with the company having earlier rolled out Passion Pro.

Hero MotoCorp has launched Xtreme Sports, a peppier and sportier version of its popular 150 cc bike, Xtreme. This is the second product launch from Hero in the month of June, with the company having earlier rolled out Passion Pro.

Xtreme Sports - which was first showcased at the Auto Expo in 2014 - is powered by a 149.2 cc, 4 stroke engine that delivers 15.6 bhp and 13.9 Nm of torque.

A host of new external features have been included in the bike to add to the visual appeal. These include a front cowl with aerodynamic visor, a new wolff eye headlamp and a split step-up seat. A unique tail lamp is in tandem with a trendy split grab rail.

On the safety front, the Hero Xtreme Sports comes with Tubeless Tyres, a wider rear tyre, and disk brakes at both front and rear.

The Xtreme Sports is available across all Hero dealerships at a price tag of Rs. 72,725 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Buyers can choose between five body colours, namely, Panther Black, Fiery Red, Mercuric Silver, Black-Red and Pyro Orange.
