Only the disc brake variant will be offered with the matte colour option
Matte colours seem to have become a style statement in scooters in recent times. While some scooters like the TVS Jupiter, Honda Dio, the Yamaha Fascino and a few others are already on sale in matte paint schemes, Suzuki too has added two new matte colour options to the Access 125. The Japanese bike maker’s best-selling scooter will now be available in Metallic Fibroin Grey and Metallic Matt Black. Suzuki will only be offering these matte colour options in the disc brake variants and it will be priced at Rs 59,063 (ex-showroom). Not too long ago, Suzuki had also brought matte black colour options to their 110cc Let’s.
Commenting on the new colour offerings, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, "Since its launch, the New Access 125 has been one of our most appreciated models. To celebrate monsoon and the upcoming festival season, we are introducing two new additional matte colours to widen the array of choices for our young customers. The refreshed Access 125, loaded with advance features, complies with our endeavor of crafting a stylish scooter which delivers a superior performance. We are confident that these new matte colours will find universal appeal and further strengthen our foothold in the segment."
Mechanically there will be no changes to the Suzuki Access 125. This means it will continue to be powered by a 124cc motor that makes 8.4bhp and 10.2Nm. This scooter has been fitted with a disc brake up front and a drum setup at the back. Aside from the matte colour options, Suzuki will continue selling the Access 125 in Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Sonic Silver, Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue No.2, Candy Sonoma Red, and Glass Sparkle Black colours.
