The Italian luxury car manufacturer Alfa Romeo took to social media to tease its upcoming internal combustion engine-powered supercar. The yet-to-be-named model will be the company's final ICE car and is slated to make its debut on August 30. This development comes ahead of the carmaker's plans to go all-electric in the coming years. Although this unnamed model seems to be Alfa Romeo's last ICE release, a sub-Tonale crossover might come along with the electric version of the Jeep Avenger in 2024. The sub-Tonale might offer both powertrains – a pure electric option and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid tech. In that case, the crossover will be the company's final model to sport a gasoline engine.

Alfa Romeo's new but unnamed vehicle is referred to as the '6C' or '33', probably due to its rumoured 6-cylinder engine and the alleged design cues taken from the 33 Stradale. Only 33 samples of the upcoming supercar are said to be produced, and each has already been sold for an estimated price of more than €1 million, about 5 times more expensive than the standard Maserati MC20 sold in the home country.
