The competition in the sub-4 metre SUV space is really heating up. Kia Motors has just taken the wraps off the Sonet and Hyundai too has launched the 2020 Venue. It doesn’t come as a surprise then, that Mahindra has prepped for the battle by slashing the prices of the XUV300.

Mahindra brought in the BS6 XUV300 petrol in March at a starting price of Rs 8.30 lakh for the base W4 trim. The Nashik-based carmaker has now slashed its price by Rs 35,000 to Rs 7. 95 lakh. Prices of other petrol variants have been reduced too. The W6 is priced at Rs 8.98 lakh, the W8 at Rs 9.90 lakh and the top-spec W8 (O) at Rs 11.12 lakh. Here’s a closer look at how the new prices are different.
