Volkswagen India has launched the Vento Preferred Edition with new features and inbuilt satellite navigation.

The Volkswagen Vento has now received an update called the 'Preferred Edition' which is available on all engine and gearbox options available in the ‘Comfortline’ variant of the car.

The features on the exterior include new alloy wheels, black roof foil and side mouldings. The interior gets new high quality leather seat covers, and portable navigation device with a wireless rear view parking camera.

The Vento is offered in India with a choice of a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder, MPI petrol engine which comes with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 1.2-litre, turbo petrol TSI option with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Volkswagen have updated their 1.5-litre diesel engine in the Vento as the it now produces 108bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or the 7-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic gearbox.

The new Vento Preferred Edition is available with both petrol engines and diesel engine options, with the manual and automatic transmission on offer and is now on sale in all Volkswagen dealerships across the country.
