Volkswagen India Launches 'Volkswagen Experiences' to Boost Customer Engagement

'Volkswagen Experiences', the brand's first customer experience initiative, has been launched in India. As part of the program, the firm plans to host various events such as experience drives. The inaugural experience drive, dubbed "The 1st Chapter: An Exhilarating Expedition to Ladakh," will take place in two batches and involve customers travelling from Chandigarh to Leh. There are just 60 spots available for each of the excursions. According to the carmaker, anyone can join the adventures, regardless of whether they own a Volkswagen or not, as long as they can afford the Rs 75,000 per person fee (flight tickets not included). Interested people can sign up for this first-ever event on the official Volkswagen India website. Moreover, early entrants may get a chance to take advantage of special discounts.

Volkswagen Experiences: Key Details

This first drive to the Himalayas is scheduled to begin in June 2024 and will be completed in two phases. On June 9, participants will leave Chandigarh and travel across the treacherous Spiti Valley terrain to reach Ladakh. The second expedition would then depart from Leh on June 18, arrive back in Chandigarh on June 23, and end there the same day. Volkswagen owners will be able to explore the breathtaking Himalayas for five nights and six days thanks to these expeditions. A range of Volkswagen cars, including the Virtus, Taigun, and Tiguan, will be available for customers to drive. The automaker has also stated that customers ought to cover the expense of car repairs caused by careless driving. Volkswagen will additionally provide overnight accommodations, meals, and fuel. A doctor will also be on board with necessary supplies.

In other news, Volkswagen unveiled the all-electric ID.4 at its recently held annual brand conference. The model will go on sale in the latter part of the year. The new Taigun GT Plus Sport and GT Line trims were also on display during the event, along with the Virtus GT Plus Sport.
